This showcase will give the WVU community a chance to meet experts working in our shared research facilities across campus, as well as an opportunity to learn about the new resources and services that are available to support research.

The 3MT Grand Finale

6 p.m.

Grad Education Mountainlair Ballroom

The 3MT Steering Committee will select the finalists who will compete in the Grand Finale on Tuesday, April 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. The finalists will be announced by early March and will receive coaching prior to the Grand Finale.

Courtney Shimek, the 2025 CAHS Outstanding Research Award Winner, will present her research on the confluence between literacy and play in elementary school classrooms, literacy teacher education, and children's literature.

This event reimagines WVU’s Annual Spring Undergraduate Research Symposium, recognizing the individuals who support research and creative work. It features joint under and graduate presentations, evaluated posters, and a graduate student poster session.
